Ahh Blogging... I love reading friends and families blogs, but will I love writing one? I have decided to dive into the world of blogging and give it a try.
It is day #??, I've lost count, of the snow. My girls have had a lot of days off of school, some I think could have been school days. They woke up this morning and were DISAPPOINTED that they did not have school today!! When that happens you know it's time for school to be open again. Oh please, oh please, let tomorrow be a school day!!
We have done a lot of fun things since the snow began. The ability to walk to our friend's houses has been a true blessing!! We have gone sled riding, had friends over for supper, gone to a friends house for a pancake feast, had a Super Bowl party, watched movies, put together a 4D puzzle- a lighthouse, gone out to eat, gone bowling twice, went to a friends house for dinner and the "Greater Keysville Snowball Fight", re-arranged the girls rooms, and my favorite, stay in and read while the girls play in their rooms.

A fun game of You Gotta Be Kidding Me!.They each chose a dare. Kiara had glasses and a mustache drawn on her face, Nichole & Caroline chose makeup.(Notice the dark lips)
I delight in the laughing and giggling that comes from the girls and their friends on unexpected days off. Laughter that echos the fact that the day is stolen time, not planned, but special, even magical. I reminisce about being their age and I am thankful for my childhood friends and the laughter I shared with them. I am thankful for my mom who created my fondest childhood memories of being snowed in. I am thankful for my friends now and the family we have all created in each other.
I thank my God every time I remember you. Philippians 1:3
Very nice! It sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, and that you aren't as "snowed in" as we are. It pays to live in town.
