Busy start to summer

Summer is wonderful, lots of friends, lots of laughter and lots of sunshine too!!! I always think "this will be the summer we will slow down", but it never happens. This week is full of dance camp, basketball camp & VBS. Our life moves at a fast pace, it's just how it goes around here. Here are a few pictures from some recent busy and non-busy days!

My dad came down for a visit last month. It was nice seeing him, he was able to be here for Abbey's birthday party and lots of other fun events.

Nichole's Birthday

Nichole's 10th birthday was April 6th! It is hard for me to believe that she is 10 already. She had a great birthday- the weather was perfect and all of her close friends were here. They had a picnic on the front lawn and played some fun games. The day was perfect!

Abbey's Birthday

Abbey's 7th Birthday was March 28th! I am a little behind on blogging, but still wanted to share some pics from the festivities. The girls had so much fun, they played crazy dress up, ate pink snacks and had a very "pink" day. We had 11 girls in all that day, which meant lots and lots of giggles & laughter!

M-A-R-C-H Hooray!

I am so thankfuk it is March! I have never had "winter-itis" like I have had this year! I am looking forward to Spring and the ushering in of summer! I look forward to the warm sun on my face and being outside and scooping ice cream!! I'm anxious to be outside and mingling with friends and the sense of community that warms up with the weather. My brother Joe

I am feeling a bit sentimental. My brother Joe proposed to his girlfriend Danielle on Valentine's Day--she said YES!! I knew the engagement was coming, yet somehow I managed not to get teary eyed until tonight. I wanted to put some pictures on here of the two of us and when I was looking through my options, the tears came a flowing. I am blessed with a wonderful brother who I can say is one of my best friends. Love you Joe!
